It used to be that at the end of a given month, I would have a lot of free time at work. I would have time to update my blog between projects and do other personal things that you just can't accomplish during non-work hours. Things seem to have changed.
I have been much busier lately. It seems like most of the day is filled with actual work. I know it makes the day go by quicker, but I don't think I like it. I miss updating my blog and other things. It seems like there is no time at home either. I feel like I am constantly on the move. I have piles of magazines on the floor waiting to be read, and it seems like such a long time since I read a book.
I hope this period of "no time" is just a passing phase. It may be selfish, but I want my "me" time back!

So little to say
When I started this blog, I told myself that I would make an entry each day. Now that I have been doing this for almost 2 years, I know that it completely unreasonable. I don't have that much to say. Sometimes, I have something to say, but not enough time to log in and type it out.
I had thought of a post I wanted to write on Monday, but I never got around to writing it. Now, it seems like old news. It isn't even worth writing now, so I need to think of something new. That is how this post came to be. Oddly enough, as I am typing this entry, I have thought of something else I could post. Watch out - it may be a two entry day today!!

A New Look
As we near the fall season, I thought I would try out a new look for my blog. I was getting a little tired of those dots. I mean, they are nice, but really not me. I am more of an Earth tone type person. I like browns, reds, oranges, purples, and creams. I guess I am just a warm colors person. It comes out in my wardrobe and my home.
*********Being a girl with the definite ability to change her mind quickly, I totally revised the blog again on 8/23/07. I decided to go with a red and black theme since red is my favorite color and they are the colors of two of my favorite teams - The Craolina Hurricanes and the Georgia Bulldogs. I have also figured out how to post pictures, add links, and design a poll. I have had the best time customizing my blog. Thanks for reading with me!*********
