I just hope I dont end up like those old Fuddies in Florida Walking the beach, wearing socks & sandles with my pants pulled up to by nibbles.

Really though, I could not agree more. I work in a high stress, face passed field, where pressure only increases. I have no qualms with hard work or stress, yet the joy is not there. I think one has to build something for themselves. A job will never fulfill someone in a way that either owning a personal business, or shaping a career in something they love, will.FinancialFacadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04565550290938473504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30170794.post-88247100995781307542010-09-03T09:45:47.298-05:002010-09-03T09:45:47.298-05:00I would love to work part-time, or from home.
I...I would love to work part-time, or from home.

I had a job a few years back that was pretty good. That company no longer exists either. I am still friends with quite a few of my colleagues, and we all think nothing will ever top that company. It is where I met my husband, too. Of course, he like to remind me that I didn't like the job back then!Susan Mohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08386061300661770416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30170794.post-54691900747338976242010-09-03T04:47:44.787-05:002010-09-03T04:47:44.787-05:00I think I'd enjoy working part-time, maybe for...I think I'd enjoy working part-time, maybe for 3 or 4 days a week. Full-time working isn't all it's cracked up to be, but the money can be good.

I had a job about 10 years ago which I loved. The money was OK and I liked my colleagues and the company. The work was challenging and my boss was lovely. Sadly that company doesn't exist any more, and I don't think I'll ever find another job like it :-(Tinsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06117009077032779594noreply@blogger.com
